Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of cooperative learning integrated reading and compotition (circ) assisted pictures media on human excretory system toward the student learning achievement in class VIII SMPN 6 Pekanbaru. This research conducted in even semester of January 2015. The method of this research used was quasi experiment with the matching only pretest-postest control group design. The sample of research were student of VIII1 and VIII4 with 33 students of each class by using simple random sampling technique. The data was where collected by pretest, posttest and observation sheet. The research used t-test in data analysis. The mean of N-Gain at control class was 0,60 in medium categorized and at experiment class 0,76 in higher categorized. From the result of t-test there is a significant difference between the control and experiment class. So it can be concluded that there was a significant effect of cooperative learning integrated reading and compotition (circ) assisted pictures media on human excretory system toward the student learning achievement in class VIII SMPN 6 Pekanbaru academic year 2014/2015.
