Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan nilai kuat tekan beton serta menentukan nilai Faktor Air Semen (FAS) yang sesuai dalam pembuatan beton tanpa agregat kasar dengan penambahan polimer concrete (polcon). Perencanaan campuran beton (mix design) menggunakan metode DoE (Development of Environment). Rancangan benda uji pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan 3 (tiga) variasi FAS yaitu 0,4; 0,5 dan 0,6 dengan perbandingan air terhadap polcon (dalam liter) sebanyak 0: 1: 100 dan 1 : 200, yang masing-masing variasi sebanyak 3 (tiga) sampel benda uji dan total sampel sebanyak 54 silinder benda uji. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kuat tekan pada keseluruhan benda uji beton tanpa agregat kasar. Kuat tekan beton tertinggi pada benda uji tanpa agregat kasar fas 0,4 dengan penambahan polcon 1:100 yaitu sebesar 584,438 kg/cm2, dan peningkatan kuat tekan sebesar 88,789% dibandingkan benda uji beton dengan agregat kasar. Sedangkan kuat tekan beton tertinggi pada benda uji agregat kasar FAS 0,4 dengan penambahan polcon 1:200 yaitu sebesar 317,264 kg/cm2. Hasil kuat tekan dengan nilai FAS memiliki hubungan terbalik yaitu semakin kecil nilai FAS (0,4) maka nilai kuat tekan beton akan semakin tinggi, demikian juga sebaliknya. Sehingga hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pembuatan beton tanpa menggunakan agregat kasar dengan penambahan polcon dan FAS terkecil yaitu 0,4 dapat meningkatkan kuat tekan beton.============================================================================================================ This research was purposed to compare the compressive strength and suitable water cement ratio in concrete manufacture with additional concrete polymer and without coarse aggregate. The concrete mix was designed by using DoE (Development of Environtment) method. The test speciment was prepared by three variation of water cement ratio; 0.4 : 0.5 : 0.6, and ratio water to concrete polimer (in liter); 0 : 1 : 100 and 1 : 200. Each variation have 3 sample of the speciment test and 54 cylinders of speciment test as the total sample. The test result shows an increasing the concrete compressive strength for the overall speciment test and without coarse aggregate. The highest compressive strength of the concrete speciment achieved 584,438 kg/cm2 by testing without coarse aggregate, 0.4 of water cement ratio, and additional of 1 : 100 concrete polymer. The compressive strength was increase 88,789% if the concrete speciment tested with coarse aggregate. While the highest compressive strength of the concrete speciment achieved 317,264 kg/cm2 by testing with coarse aggregate, 0.4 of water cement ratio, and additional of 1 : 200 concrete polymer. the compressive strengths and water cement ratios have inverse relation, where the smaller value of water cement ratio will increase the value of concrete compressive strength, and thus otherwise. Hence, the research proved that the concrete manufacturing without coarse aggregate with additional concrete polymer and smallest value of water cement ratio (0.4) will increase concrete compressive strength.
